Throughout history disputes have torn apart relationships and driven wedges between closest of friends. At the root of this is always an inability to resolve differences in an amicable manner that is satisfactory to all. Jewish Law mandates that one brings their dispute to a Beis Din (Jewish Court) for adjudication according to the Torah. Unfortunately, often by then it is too late to repair the damage that has been caused in the relationship.

It is for this reason that in recent years there has been a strong movement towards Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) as a means of achieving settlements between conflicting parties. Through mediation it has been possible to navigate through entrenched differences to reach a solution that brings parties together rather than distance them.

The success of ADR speaks for itself. Today, courts actively encourage parties and their representatives to consider mediation before continuing with legal proceedings. Indeed, many ADR centres have emerged to meet this rise in demand. However, these are not always effective in meeting the specific religious & cultural needs of the Jewish Community.

At the International Halachic Arbitration & Mediation Centre we aim to bridge this gap. Our mission is to bring together Halachic expertise, professional mediation skills and a deep understanding of Jewish society and its particular requirements.

As its name suggests the Centre seeks to provide Arbitration (according to Jewish Law), Mediation and possibly even a combination of the two as a means to resolve your dispute regardless of its specific nature. Based in London and Gibraltar it also offers its services worldwide.

We take pride not only in terms of the expertise we offer but more importantly in our professional standards. All information disclosed at any stage during the process is absolutely confidential. Any agreement reached between parties is put in writing in a legally binding document.
